Between the exciting races of EMAC’s first race night the student of the year awards were presented, one for each programme taught within EMAC. Winners of the awards had demonstrated a number of skills including hard work, determination, good attendance and generally have been a joy to teach since they first joined the collage. Each winner was given a specially made belt which they will keep for a year and then they will present to the new winners in December 2010. We ...

On the 18th December EMAC held its first race night in aid of its competitive fighting team Edinburgh Wolfpack and Wolfpack International. EMAC wants to be in a position where no fighter has to pay for sections or additional equipment just because they want to represent themselves and the club. Competitions can be expensive especially if you have more than one member of family competing so we hope to be able to help out as many families as possible.

On the 5th December EMAC was lucky enough to host a points fighting Seminar with Michael “Venom”Page and Kalon Page. Sensei Kevin was lucky enough to train with them both from the first days of his training and went onto to work with Michael at GBMAA Cobham, sensei Kevin’s first martial arts school. Sensei Natasha also spent a year down south training with the GBMAA where Michael and the rest of the predators took her under their wings.

On the 27th October 2009 Sensei Natasha and Sensei Kevin travelled to Spain, Malaga to take part in this year’s World Championships. Natasha was competing to improve on her already impressive title tally, hoping to make four World Titles into six, however this time at adult level. In November the IASKA Scottish Championships were held at Caledonian University, the last competition of the IASKA calendar. The first success of EMAC’s competitive fighting team Edinburgh Wolfpack was the great support they received from fellow students and parents of the school. It was an early start as we had to travel by bus from Edinburgh to Glasgow. This however did not deter 12 students and parents to support the fighters on the day and diddn't go...

Hi Everyone,
